What is The Academy?
The
Academy for Lifelong Learning at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum
offers the unique opportunity to enhance your life through continued
learning experiences, both within and outside, a formal classroom
environment.
Programs are conducted year round. All courses have an informal format
and are developed by the members. Suggestions for new programs are
welcomed.
Courses are a mixture of discussion-group meetings, led by a knowledgeable
participant; round-table presentations; lectures presented by volunteer
experts or uniquely qualified individuals; self-financed field trips;
and social events. Classes are now being held at the ALL Building,
103 Railroad Ave., St. Michaels, or other nearby locations.
How can I participate?

their time and talents. All members are encouraged to be active
