Apprentice for a Day Skiffs for Sale -
13.5 foot flat bottom skiffs presently under construction at the Museum Boat Shop. These skiffs are handcrafted by a unique collaboration between master shipwrights and weekend apprentices, who focus their hands and heads to create traditional wooden vessels.

Designed for rowing, these classic vessels are made from white cedar over oak frames. They boast lapstrake sides with a cold-molded bottom and are copper and bronze fastened. These boats are traditionally crafted and finished with marine enamel and varnished trim.

Handmade oars are included. Skiffs are designed by Captain Pete Culler and can be custom built.

Cost - Rowing Skiff: $3,500 (plus tax), Sailing Skiff: $6,500 (plus tax)

Proceeds from skiff sales go to continuing the Apprentice for a Day program. To purchase a boat or for more information, contact Boat Yard Manager, Richard Scofield at 410-745-2916 ext. 136 or rscofield@cbmm.org.
