Welcome, Boaters!

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is pleased to provide its members at the contributing level and above with overnight and daytime docking privileges.

Registration is first come first serve and encouraged two weeks prior to the scheduled visit by calling
410-745-4946. Once registration is completed, members will receive a Boater’s Guide.

One day in advance of your arrival, please contact us by phone at 410-745-4946 or VHF Channel 16 for your slip assignment. Refer to the Boater's Guide chart showing designated docking areas A through H. Staff members will be happy to assist with your lines upon request. After docking, please check in with any member of the Visitor Services staff in the Admissions Building.

Day Dockage
FREE Day dockage is available to Family Level members and above, from 10am-4pm. Availability is limited, no reservations accepted.  Memberships at the Family Level and above are permitted two additional guests for free. Any additional non-member guests must pay Museum admission

Dinghy Dock
Members are welcome to use the Museum dinghy dock. Please check in with the Welcome Center prior to visiting our grounds, or when leaving campus.

Overnight Dockage
Contributor Level Members and above may make use of overnight docking facilities at a cost of:

• $1.75 per foot Sunday through Thursday with a $50 minimum


• $2.50 per foot Friday through Saturday and Holiday weekends with a $75 minimum


• Single 30 amp $11 per night


• Twin 30 amp $16 per night


• Single 50 amp $16 per night


• Pump-out station $5/pump-out

Supporter Level members and above will also receive a coupon for free docking on the second night of a visit once per year in addition to free head pumpout.
