The Museum and Museum Store are open year-round,
varying by season.

April to May, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
June to August, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
September to October, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
November to March, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Closed: Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's days

Inclement Weather Closings:
The Museum will follow the Talbot County Public School's closings for inclement weather. Visit www.tcps.k12.md.us/index.html to see if there are any delays or closings.

Individual Admissions

• $13.00 Adults
• $10.00 Seniors 62+
• $6.00 Kids 6-17
• Kids under 6 are free!
• Members receive free general admission
• Active duty military personnel AND their families receive free admission between Memorial Day, May 27 and Labor Day, September 27, 2013 as part of the Blue Star Museums Program.

 

Mister Jim Boat Rides
Scenic boat cruises aboard the Museum's replica buyboat are available Friday through Monday and go out at 12noon, 1p, 2pm, and 3pm for 30-45 minute cruises along the Miles River. Cost is $10 per person or free for kids 16 and under with Museum admission, (which is free for members). Departs from the Museum and carries up to 24 passengers. Tickets available at the Welcome Center.

Directions

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is located in St. Michaels, Maryland on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The Museum is located nine miles from Easton, MD off MD Rt. 33 West. Route 33 becomes the main street of St. Michaels. About half a mile into St. Michaels you will see a Museum Entrance sign on the right. Follow the signs to Museum parking and to the Admissions Building, where you will find friendly, knowledgeable staff to point your way.
